IS TEMPORARY HALT – AMBI BUDGE

The ongoing 18 days protest by a section of Kannada Film Producers at KFCC office has come to a halt. This is temporary solution with high drama of 50 films producer Jayasimha Musuri admission to Mallige Hospital.

A meager section of producers and others as visiting professors at the protest place has come to halt with the intervention of Karnataka Information minister Roshan Baig, Dr Ambarish budging on his earlier decision on request made by K Manju and Munirathna Naidu.

However the slogan shouting on Dr Ambarish, Kannada cinema Artists Association President and Minister of Housing was up on Wednesday for the reported remark ‘Producers are beggars, they are not choosers’ told by Ambarish in the morning. Dr Rajakumar called producers as ‘Annadhataru’ now Dr Ambarish in his footprints calls producers as Beggars has severely hurt many.

A section of producers taking such beating from Ambarish were not ready to agree to such careless remark from Dr Ambarish.

Meanwhile the Bundh called for June 18 has been called off. The demand of one bunch of producers that Artists association should cooperate has also taken a new turn.

Dr Ambarish with all hullaballoo consented to come to KFCC after having a meeting his artist’s colleagues.

At Mallige Hospital where Jayasimha Musuri was admitted for hunger strike from last three days, Karnataka Information Minister Roshan Baig offered him juice and assured of all help from the Karnataka government for the producer’s demands.
